JOAN DAPHNE PASQUALE, 78, of Beverly Hills, Florida, died Thursday May 24, 2007 at the Hospice of Citrus County Hospice House in Lecanto, Florida. Joan was born on September 8, 1928 in Peterborough, New Hampshire, daughter of the late Howard and Helen (Winship) Burt. She had lived in Rindge until moving to Florida in 1977. She was employed as a Registered Nurse in several sectors, first by the State of New Hampshire and later the State of Florida, working in the prison systems, setting up medical facilities and interfacing with prisoners. She was also the Director of Nursing at the South Florida State Hospital in Immokalee for several years. She enjoyed traveling, going to the horse and dog racing tracks and bingo. She liked poetry and music. Her family stated she was the "ultimate Good Samaritan" using her skills and life to help many people. Joan was Methodist by faith. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Howard Burt, Jr. and Roger Burt. Joan is survived by her husband of 56 years, Rocco R. Pasquale of Beverly Hills, FL; her son, Jan Anthony and wife Karen Pasquale of South Salem, New York; two daughters, Pam and husband Wayne Koski of Jaffrey, New Hampshire and Deborah Pasquale-Proterra of Stamford, CT; her five grandchildren, Eric Koski, Tracy Proterra, David Proterra, II, Michael Pasquale, and Elyse Pasquale; her great-grandson, Corey Koski; and her sister, Jacqueline and husband Jerry O'Connor of Jaffrey, N.H. https://www.cournoyerfh.com/obituaries/joan-pasquale
